Chaya Mallavaram is a very talented & beautiful modern impressionist and abstract painter based in the Boston area. Her main focus is creating unique commissioned art using her talent in collaboration with the client’s vision and inspiration. Chaya combines vibrant colors and bold textures in her paintings that lets viewers escape into places that are magical and uplifting.
Challenge:
Chaya wanted to showcase her beautiful art collection in a modern and elegant way for her clients but felt that her old website didn't fully reflect her vision and showcase the incredible collection of paintings. One of the main goals for this project was to launch a place to showcase Chaya’s painting collections in a modern, clean and elegant way.

During the discovery + strategy phase of my design process, it was clear once again that Squarespace was the best platform to showcase Chaya’s beautiful artwork collection. More importantly, it was perfect for her to maintain/update on her own when my design process was finished.
In the build + review phase, I built a custom website that not only showcased Chaya’s artwork collection, but also focused on her commission work and process that helped her really stand out from the competition.

Now, Chaya is ready to welcome clients for new commissions and have the opportunity to browse through her available and sold artwork collection all in one place. The clients also can view installation views which helps to paint an overall picture of how the art work can integrate into their home & décor. The website has been live since June 2022 and Chaya is benefitting significantly with the new website.
