Jill Vetstein is a Mental Health Therapist, Reiki Master, Teacher and Trainer who provides services to clients seeking not only traditional therapy but also a variety of holistic and alternative therapies for infants, children, adults, parents and educators. She has been in practice for several years and has a loyal client base, but was looking to expand her reach and attract new clients through a new website design.
Challenge:
Jill's primary goal was to create a website that effectively communicates her several services and approach to potential clients, while also improving the user experience for current clients. She wanted to ensure that the new website reflects her nurturing and compassionate approach, and also positions her as an expert in her field.
Outdated WordPress website that didn’t showcase all her extensive service offerings and trainings/workshops topics

Integration to Simply Practice scheduling platform for easy appointment scheduling

Simple + Significant Design Solution:
During the discovery + strategy phase of my design process, it was evident that Jill needed a website that showcased her extensive list of services, with a clear call-to-action inviting visitors to schedule a consultation. The navigation menu had to be easy to use, with clear and concise labels that make it easy for visitors to find the service they are looking for. And, Squarespace was the perfect platform as it checked all the boxes and more importantly, it was perfect for to use on her own when I was done with the website.
In the build + review phase, I focused on creating a modern and visually appealing Squarespace website that conveyed a sense of calm and serenity using calming colors - shades of blue from her new logo, to create a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. It showcased Jill’s extensive therapy and workshop offerings that would help her really stood out from the competition.

By focusing on creating a modern and visually appealing website that conveys a sense of calm and serenity, it effectively communicate Jill's services and approach to potential clients. By using Squarespace and optimizing the website for search engines, I ensured that the website is easy to manage and can be easily found by those searching for holistic and alternative healing methods.
